Various types of memory in your computer. RAM vs Hard Disk

Customers often ask me what is RAM, and a Hard disk, or they are unsure of what either one is. Hopefully this video will help explain it to some folks, so I don't get this question as much. RAM is your computer's working area, while your hard drive is where you store files for long term. When you power off the computer the RAM is cleared, and emptied out. The hard drive will still have your files (allowing that it is working correctly)
