Transformers DOTM "Ultimate" Optimus Prime - GotBot true Review NUMBER 518
This time I look at the Transformers Dark of the Moon, self-professed, "Ultimate" Optimus Prime. This movie version of the Autobot leader comes with his famed trailer, though it is much more than just that and appears somewhat oversize when compared to the cab. The cab itself resembles the movie Optimus character but is fairly highly stylized. The articulation is largely effective and the conversion is very intuitive and unique. It is described as voyager-ish in size but I will compare it to other iterations of this guy at that size class to see how accurate that claim is. As for the trailer, it claims to expand to nearly 2 feet to combine with the cab robot to become his "ultimate" mode. However, just how true is the claim that there is nearly 2 feet of extra limbs and wings? I compare that form to a couple titan class figures to see. Also, how "ultimate" is this Optimus?
