Let's Play Mechcommander: Desperate Measures - Op 3 - Mission 1 - Part 2
The target base itself, while looking quite formidable, has really nothing to offer in terms of resistance. With four Hunchback II-J's as its mobile defense, it's incredible vulnerable to long range fire; picking apart the Hunchback's, then working over the artillery turrets, not to mention how vulnerable main power is to being taken out. Should you choose not to deal with the Turkina and the rest of the vehicles in the SE secondary base, try and capture the Heavy Turret Controls if possible, but it's not strictly necessary. The Hunchbacks will also go after the Controls with a vengeance. Destroying the perimeter alarms gives you more time to pick through the defenses, and remember to repair using the Mech Bay located in the base to save yourself some RP's for the next logistics phase.
