Mercedes Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo (concept) Reveal at 2013 LA Auto Show
Revealed during the AMG Preview Night! Mercedes revealed a bold glimpse of the future with the AMG Vision Gran Turismo. This car was designed specifically for the next Gran Turismo, Gran Turismo 6, which is set to release December 6th, 2013. The car is extremely stunning and had the most attention at the Auto Show. According to Gorden Wagener, vice president for design at Daimler, says that the look of the car was actually inspired by the old 1952 300SL by Mercedes-Benz. The car weighs in at just over 3000 lbs. Althought during the Auto Show it was powered by an electrical engine for moving it around, the plan for the engine is a twin-turbo V8 tuned by AMG producing 585 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque.
