Five tips to make your solo more intense - Ep6 of "The Pragmatic Guitar Course"

▶ In this sixth episode I'll show you five simple tips to add feeling and expressiveness to your rockabilly guitar solo. Of course these tips also work on any style. - Tip #1: CLOSE YOUR PHRASE IN A SWEET WAY - Tip #2: FILL THE SPACES BETWEEN THE NOTES - Tip #3: DIALOGUE WITH YOURSELF - Tip #4: PLAY IN A SMALL PORTION OF THE FRETBOARD - Tip #5: DON'T CLOSE YOUR PHRASE WITH THE ROOT NOTE Have fun and start practicing. If you wanna gain your playing and learn much more about the American music of the 40s-50-60s (I'm talking about rockabilly-western swing-honky tonk-classic country-blues-early jazz) you can get a private lessons plan via Skype, Zoom or Meet. Just send me an email to diegocaster@tin.it or leave a comment below. The first lesson is free! The others for a cheap price (don't worry...) ▶ Follow me on the FB’s page of my band, the Don Diego Trio: https://www.facebook.com/dondiegoproject ▶ Follow me on my Instagram profile: https://www.instagram.com/dondiegotrio/ My name’s is “Don” Diego Geraci. I’m Sicilian, but I actually live in the north of Italy. I’m 45yo, a young “old” fella. I’ve been performing live since I was very young, playing everything from blues, to rockabilly, from Western swing, to classic country. Passing from the rock side to the jazzy side of the river. I played a lotta surf music as well. I can flatpick and thumpick. During this weird period, without gigs, I decided to focus my attention on teaching and I’m honestly having much fun! In these videos I’ll show some tricks and tips I learned over 27 years of hitting the stage and dragging my bones over the world, playing hard and backing a lot of different artists. My motto is “Let The Twang Get To You”… Gear description: ▶ Blackbeard Telecaster, played through a Fender Mustang (Princeton emulation), CatalinBread Belle Epoch (echo pedal) ▶ Elixir Strings (0.10 - 0.46) ▶ Boss RC1 Loop Station ▶ Zoom Q2n 4K camera
