Install how to ATI + nVidia graphics card as dedicated PhysX using HD5850 and 9400GT
I wanted to install a nVidia card for physx purpose as my ATI HD5850 did not support. So I bought a cheap 9400GT from ebay (although made process more complex as new drivers for PhysX don't support this card) and set about installing. First attempt was failure as card must not been set right. Second install worked fine (although knocked my soundcard out a little which I reseated later). Then first drivers I used did not work. so went to 8.09 drivers (downloaded from Guru3D) - booted using 9400GT and saw all working fine. Rebooted back with HD5850 and low and behold GPU-Z was showing PhysX enabled. So, this video is just put together of what I was doing. Kind of tutorial in that I say what done - rest being the end to end process. Any comments or help required please leave me a message. And if you like this vid (or other) please subscribe as got more to come. Please visit http://www.plasmation.co.uk where I hope to put a text howto for this and there is now growing content.
