The Apex Games are a televised blood sport organized by the Mercenary Syndicate under its Apex Games Commission headed by Kuben Blisk. A successor of sorts to the "Thunderdome" that was organized by the IMC personnel stationed on Kings Canyon, it started sometime between 2728 and 2731 and has been running for more than 120 seasons. This new incarnation of the Thunderdome was named after the old mercenary outfit of Blisk, the Apex Predators. (Forgot which season this was... but the early days, when we all sucked.)
