The series is further set apart by including a selection of 3rd party video game characters from different franchises such as Minecraft's Steve, Tekken 7's Kazuya, Persona’s Joker and Adachi, Street Fighter’s Ken and Ryu, Final Fantasy VII’s Cloud and Sephiroth, RARE's Banjo and Kazooie, and Sega’s Sonic The Hedgehog, as well as a custom stage maker and custom stages made by the smash players and community. Most recently the game has been updated to Version 13.0 where Kingdom Heart's Sora has been added as DLC to the game, as well as many balance changes, bug patches, buffs, and nerfs.
