AS#94 - La mer - Beyond the sea - Charles Trenet - 1936 Epiphone Deluxe
Hey guys, it’s been a long time since the last acoustic standards with that 1936 Epiphone Deluxe. Today i’m bringing you to the south of France, with a version of the Charles Trenet famous song from 1943 : « La mer » (Beyond the sea). I can recommend some nice versions such as Django’s version, and the George Benson song that everybody must have heard already. I’m playing this gorgeous 1936 epiphone deluxe, 17 inches lower bout acoustic archtop, with D’addario Phosphore bronze strings gauge 12, with a Dunlop 0.71mm purple Pick. The sound is captured by a Neumann TLM 103.
