Rise of the Tomb Raider with GTX Titan X
Rise of the Tomb Raider - Testing out graphical settings with an NVIDIA GTX Titan X. Edit: New Titan X gameplay can be seen here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2w6ijF5jn1w Rise of the Tomb Raider is a gorgeous looking game even with its graphical flaws. It's very hard to find a steady FPS in Rise of the Tomb Raider, and it appears that the only real negative draw on performance with the Titan X is when everything is maxed out. If I reduce the anti-aliasing down to SSAAx2 then I can pretty much average above 30 FPS with spikes much higher than that depending on the situation and level. Obviously, as I show in the video, simply running with FXAA proves to be the most consistent way to keep a smooth and high FPS throughout the opening level. As is right now, Rise of the Tomb Raider is going to push the best graphics cards out there. Even those who play in 1080p with a high-end card will experience near or below 30 FPS. But even with not maxing out all the settings, Rise of the Tomb Raider is an absolute and beautiful looking game on PC. Specs: * i7 5820k * NVIDIA GTX Titan X * HyperX 32GB DDR4 2666 * HyperX 240GB SSD * EVGA Supernova 850W Gold
