HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 A7F64A Missing or Damaged Error
TIP: HP OfficeJet Pro 8744 – Do You Really Save With HP Instant Ink?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VXzRHqqDAc --- For the #HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 #A7F64A printer, if you installed a replacement HP950, 951 #ink cartridge (or #HP950XL, #HP951XL high yield cartridge) and you observe a #missing or #damaged #inkjet #error then it is possible that the #HP8610 internal PRINTHEAD might have a bent or #broken contact #pin (or multiple pins). When the cartridge is installed these pins make contact with the #Internal #PRINTHEAD. If there is poor #electrical continuity contact between pins and the cartridge's #electronic #chip then errors such as #damaged, #failure, #failed or #missing will be displayed. To verify pin condition, remove all 4 ink cartridges and using a flash light, carefully inspect the internal PRINTHEAD contact pins for visible damage. Each pin should be protruding outwards as shown. If the pin is bent down, it is possible to gently pry it back up with a small screwdriver. If a pin is broken, then the PRINTHEAD will need to be replaced.
