RA 40+ Ramananjali History Day 4 26 2 2021
Ramana Maharshi Centre for Learning celebrates Ramananjali 40+ years. Day 4 will consist of the history of Ramananjali, the story of Ramananjali. Reminiscences from the past have been shared with songs and many incidents. Celebrating 40 years of Ramananjali Ramananjali is a musical movement started in 1980 along with an ensemble of the same name led by Smt. Sulochana Natarajan. There are more than 2000 songs in the Ramananjali repertoire consisting of works of Ramana Maharshi and on his life and teachings by poet saints like Muruganar, Ganapati Muni, Sadhu Om and others in their original and translations in several Indian languages. Ramananjali has spearheaded the cultural movement of Ramana Maharshi Centre for Learning expanding into dance and theatre as well. Ramananjali Music has two streams, classical and devotional. The classical stream contains every salient aspect of Carnatic Music. The devotional stream has been embellished by music from many all-time great music directors of the late nineteen and early twentieth centuries. The translations into Kannada, Telugu and Hindi are also by eminent poets of our times. The Celebration will go on for 5 months. So tune in to this channel and get information about them.
