August 7th, MRP. 1989 Turbo Dodge Caravan vs new Nissan R35 GTR, runs a 12.9@103 mph.
89 Dodge Caravan, 2.5 TIII DOHC turbo, GT35R turbo, no tuning, auto, full load, 3600lbs, trying to back up my 12.8 run, get gridded with a GTR, we are neck and neck, me at 33 psi of boost, he said he was at 19 psi. My turbo started surging almost right away, boost dropped to 25 then back to 30-still surging. He said his dropped to 8 then came back too. I ran a 12.9@103 to his 11.7@118. His mods were a chip and exhaust.
