The Higher School of Social Sciences, Humanities and International Communication
The Higher School of Social Sciences, Humanities and International Communication is the largest academic unit of the Northern Arctic Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov. Its mission consists in facilitating sustainable innovation-driven development of education and research in the sphere of humanities to meet the economic, social and cultural needs of the subarctic regions of Russia and other countries. The School is now home to more than 1700 students, including 63 from abroad, studying Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD degree programs. They are future professionals qualified for research, project management, translation and teaching.
