China's Build Your Dreams (BYD) has added to its portfolio in India with the launch of the electric Atto 3 SUV. Atto 3 – the company's second car in India after the e6 electric MPV. The EV comes with a 60.49kWh battery pack which, as per BYD, gives the car a range of 521km in single charge. Additionally, a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor has been used in Atto 3; the motor can generate maximum power of 201bhp and peak torque of 310Nm. According to the manufacturer, the model can go from 0 to 100kmph in just 7.3 seconds.
