Brink & Cotton no.144 Clamp Restored
In this video I restore a Brink & Cotton no.144 - 4 inch C-clamp. Made in Bridgeport Connecticut, but I don't know exactly how old it is. Information on Brink & Cotton is somewhat elusive. I can tell you they founded sometime in the 1920s, and the company has been sold a few times and is currently owned by the Wilton Tool Company. You can still buy clamps branded Brink & Cotton, but I have no idea of the quality or country of origin of the new ones. This one, now that it is restored, should provide good service for years to come. I'd be honored if you would consider subscribing to my channel, and help me spread the word.
