Julius Bochníček April 17th, 1871 Prague - June 17, 1951 Prague Bochníček studied music (piano, organ and composition) in Prague from 1886 to 1889. He then joined the chorus of the Deutsches Landestheater. In 1895, Bochníček became a choir trainer first in Stettin, then in Prague. He found that he had a fine tenor voice and studied in Munich with Maestro Kroupa. In 1897, he made his debut as a singer. In 1900, Bochníček moved to Pilsen. In 1901, he moved back to Prague before having another season in Pilsen before returning again to Prague but this time at the Czech House. He toured Eastern Europe with the BRNO Opera company. From 1902 to 1909, Bochníček sang at the Imperial Opera in Budapest. Bochníček had health problem and he stopped singing.
