This is the second game of the franchise that introduces the player to renaissance Italy. In this game you play as Ezio Auditore da Firenze a man who learns about the secret society his father worked for in order to stop the Templar order from taking over Italy. Throughout the game, Ezio ventures to Tuscany, Florence, Forli and Venice and finally in Rome to confront his nemesis Rodrigo Borgia, a ruthless Templar who will stop at nothing to control all of Italy's citizens with the piece of Eden.
