Half-Life 2: VR Mod - Episode One - Part 7 - Urban Flight - P3
What is it about achievements that compels me to complete them? They're stupid. They're nothing. They're little, meaningless digital trophies that boil down to "congrats, you did it!" and yet I always feel the need to bust my ass to get them. Not even new, unique ones, but the EXACT same achievements I got on the Xbox 360 version of The Orange Box in 2009, and then again on Steam in 2011, and now again in the VR version in 2023. Not just The One Free Bullet, either, I'm gonna go back and get all the Lambda caches in Half-Life 2 VR for the third time, and then in Episode Two I'm gonna squish all those fucking Antlion grubs AGAIN, and bring the fucking gnome through the entire game to White Forest, AGAIN. This is so fucking stupid. Achievements are fucking stupid. I'm fucking stupid.
