Noctua is reportedly working on a high-performance fanless CPU cooler building on a 2019 prototype that was exhibited at last year's Computex. The final product should launch within 2020, according to an Overclock3D report. As of now there's no word on whether the said cooler will look identical to last year's prototype, but it provides a long list of capabilities that Noctua could build on. For starters, last year's prototype was capable of handling 120 W TDP in PC cases with good natural ventilation, and up to 180 W in cases with quiet fans. The company used a Core i9-9900K in a variety of workloads as a proof of the heatsink's capabilities. The prototype heatsink was also shown offering decent amount of clearance with the motherboard's memory- and VRM areas. Its only downside was the 1.5 kg weight. 2. ⚠️ Intel New Generation pushed to new record - Intel Core i9-10900K Pushed to 7.707 GHz Under Liquid Helium Cooling An Intel Core i9-10900K processor was overclocked to 7707 MHz with all cores enabled, by professional overclocker Elmor, who participated in a collaborative overclocking session by ASUS. The frequency was achieved at 101.42 MHz BClk, and 76x multiplier. Supporting the overclock was a liquid helium evaporator. An ASUS ROG Maximus XII Apex motherboard was used for the feat, along with a single stick of DDR4-4400 memory. Also, Windows XP was used, to support the ASUS Turbo V Core too 3. ⚠️ AMD dropping prices and pushing Intel to the corner - AMD Repositions Ryzen 9 3900X at $410 Threatening both i9-10900K and i7-10700K AMD marshaled its retailer ecosystem to cut the pricing of its 12-core/24-thread Ryzen 9 3900X processor down to USD $410. At this price, the 3900X is poised to threaten both the 10-core/20-thread Core i9-10900K and the 8-core/16-thread Core i7-10700K. Although bearing a $489 MSRP, the i9-10900K is seen going for upwards of $510. The i7-10700K, on the other hand, is being priced around the $410 mark. The iGPU-devoid i9-10900KF is expected to be around $20 cheaper, which should put its retail pricing around $480, while the i7-10700KF could go for around $380. Adding value to the AMD chip is the fact that it includes a cooling solution in the retail package, which Intel doesn't, for the i9-10900K/KF and the i7-10700K/KF 4.⚠️ G.SKILL Trident Z Royal Achieves New DDR4-6666 World Record with ASUS ROG G.SKILL International Enterprise Co., Ltd., the world's leading manufacturer of extreme performance memory and gaming peripherals, is thrilled to claim yet another world record, in close cooperation with the ASUS ROG team, for the fastest memory frequency at an incredible DDR4-6666, achieved by the G.SKILL Trident Z Royal DDR4 memory with the latest Intel Core i9-10900K processor and ASUS ROG Maximus XII APEX motherboard, based on the new Intel Z490 chipset THANK YOU FOR WATCHING ! #TechNews #Intel10thGen #NoctuaFanlessCooler
