Physically connect your computer or smartphone to the D-Link DIR-1210 router using an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi. Open a web browser and enter the default IP address of the D-Link DIR-1210 (usually something like 192.168.0.1) in the address bar. Log in using the default username and password (you can find these in the router's manual). Navigate to the wireless settings section. Select "Repeater Mode" or a similar option.
