Project 49 - Leo Vince ZX Exhaust Sound Clips And Notes - 49cc Minarelli Jog 2T Scooter

Sound clips of the Leo Vince ZX tuned pipe. The Leo Vince ZX-R is the latest version of this pipe. The ZX-R is the same design, but with a longer muffler to quiet it just a little more as I understand it. The ZX is the first exhaust I've tested has a much more aggressive note. It's a nice sound at idle. I don't really mind it while riding, but I kind of prefer the quieter pipes at this point. I don't really enjoy the extra attention when I'm taking off slowly. lol The Leo Vince ZX makes less power than the GP and SP3 or the stock pipe under 7,000RPM. At 7,000RPM it seems to start waking up. The ZX doesn't really start working well until around 7,500RPM. Unfortunatley it doesn't get a very wide powerband when couple with the very mild porting of this stock cylinder, and seems to peak at 7,900 to maybe 8,000RPM. I saw the same peak cruise RPM with either 5g or 4g sliders. 7,900-8,000RPM at 41MPH. The 4g slider allowed the drop off in RPM as the torque driver shifted to be less severe and stay much closer to peak. I never tried lighter sliders with the SP3 or GP. Seeing these results, I have to think it's a possibility that I could have used perhaps 4 or 4.5g sliders to get a slightly better result with those. The lack of power below 7,000RPM with the ZX really made it a necessary change though. Of the Leo Vince exhausts I am able to try, the GP has shown the best power and remains quiet and I like it's styling the best of the 3. Time will tell if these results stand as the cylinder choice gets more aggressive. Thanks for watching and stay tuned! I do have at least one more pipe to try. I believe all of my others are intended for 90-100cc engines. http://49ccscoot.proboards.com Please like, favorite, and subscribe if you enjoy my videos or find them helpful!
