This episode is part one of two about Gillius' career. Gilius is best known as a journeyman in League of Legends, famously playing for many different teams and moving on from organisation to organisation to pursue his professional gaming career. In the early days he was playing in teams like Gamers2 and Unicorns of Love, helping the latter qualify into LCS. After standing in for SK at 2014 Worlds he would play in the LCS as part of UoL briefly before being replaced. Attempting to qualify to the NA LCS with eUnited was an interesting diversion but ultimately say him back in Europe months later. Gilius finally got to live out his dream after qualifying for EU LCS with GIANT and taking most of the roster over to Vitality. In their first LCS split the team finished fourth and looked to be a dangerous would-be contender. Results would fall in the summer and he would be replaced in the line-up by Kikis, a strange pattern which played out many times in their two careers. After some time in the German scene, Gilius reemerged to help Schalke 04 in their legendary 'miracle run' to the play-offs of 2020 LEC Summer, where Gilius's performances earned him many Player of the Game awards. The following split the team was pushing the G2 super-team and finalists Rogue in the Spring play-offs. Alas, star Mid laner Abbedagge was replaced and Gilius exited the line-up in yet another quick departure following promising results. He then played for SK for 2022. The LEC still awaits whether Gilius will return to play another split. In part one, Gilius discusses his early days fighting to earn recognition, some of his team-mates like Fox and Jiizuke, attempting to quality to LCS with eUnited, his style of jungling, finding success in Vitality and how some strange decisions at times in his career cost him.
