Witcher 3 Wild Hunt on Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition
Edit: Occasionally the quality is ruined by youtube postprocessing , the upload was a crispy 7GB raw video So, Gigabyte Radeon HD 7770 1GHz Edition 1GB DDR5, 128bit Graphics options: VSync ON Max FPS Unlimited (limited to 33 in RTSS) Resolution 1280x720 (no high fps loss if higher up to 1920x1080, but heats a bit) Fullscreen Hairworks OFF (obviously) Nr. of Background Characters LOW (didn't test higher) Shadows LOW (already nice) Terrain MEDIUM (didn't test other setting) Water MEDIUM (kinda' crap on higher, don't like the splashes) Grass Density LOW (don't like heat, If I want grass I go outside) eTexture Quality HIGH (medium has close quality at the given resolution) Foliage Visibility Range LOW (the card boils otherwise) Detail Level LOW Hardware Cursor ON Postprocessing: Motion Blur OFF (hate blur) Blur OFF (told ya I hate blur) Antialiasing OFF (no FPS loss but heats 80deg+) Bloom ON Sharpening HIGH (like the effect, like in Witcher 2) Ambient Occlusion HBAO+ (max, worth the fuss) Depth of Field ON (kinda' ugly without it) Chromatic Aberration ON (didn't see yet any particular difference tbh) Vignetting ON (yet no idea what it does) Light Shafts ON The FPS is limited to 33fps...seems like a sweet spot compromise for my screen. The game maintains a solid framerate, also looks already awesome on these settings. The card heats around 75°C, sometimes reaches 79-80°C in intense scenes and dialogues, but it behaves strangely decent, given its age. IMPORTANT EDIT: cleaned the dust :), heats now up to sweet max 65°C no matter what I do (also changed the original thermal paste an year ago with a fairly good one) Other specs: CPU Phenom x4 3.2GHz (unlocked Phenom x2) 4GB DDR3 1333 120GB SSD (swap on this one) W3WH installed on HDD Hope your old pal HD7770 will do the same :) I'm glad it's not a potato yet
