Paul Leonard box squatting 407 lbs to his 12” box with a medium stance on 2/10/19.
This is the first low bar squat I have done in over a year. My left shoulder is really stiff from previous injuries and forcing the bar into a low bar position really hurts. I will work with this shoulder and bar positioning until it loosen ups. I plan on doing an official squat in competition in 2019 so I need to regain sufficient mobility so I can squat and then do the other two lifts with minimal loss of strength as well as pain. In between box squats today, I did PVC pipe dislocates, band pull aparts and other mobility work to allow my shoulders to “open up” more.
