My DIY network analyzer in action
The video demonstrates how my DIY network analyzer works. I have a function generator with two outputs and a two-channel oscilloscope. One of the channels is connected directly, the other one goes through a DIY low-pass filter. PC is running Matlab that controls both devices. Software gets the both traces, measures the amplitudes and estimates the phase difference. Once done, the software sets a new frequency on the function generator, and repeats.
