Upgrade to an M.2 NVMe SSD and Restore Windows 10 (without Cloning)

In this video, I show you how upgrade an HP Pavilion Desktop Model TP01-1016 to an M.2 NVMe SSD, while also removing the original hard drive. Afterwards, we'll restore the factory image containing Windows to the newly installed NVMe. Unlike my other videos on the subject of cloning, I'll be performing a factory restore using a bootable USB flash drive to reset Windows after I install the SSD. The HP Pavilion comes with a Seagate 1TB hard drive that has Windows 10 Home installed on it. Though the hard drive runs at 7200 RPM, I'll be adding a much, much faster NVMe module, but at the same time, I'll remove the 1TB hard drive as I don't plan to use it. This brings up the question: how do we transfer Windows to a brand new, empty SSD if HP hasn't provided any installation media? #HPPavilion #NVMe #Windows10 00:00 Introduction 00:25 The Plan 01:30 Stuff I'll Be Using 02:04 Preparing for the Operation 03:38 Performing Surgery 06:09 Sewing Up the Patient Video References: Cloning video ► https://youtu.be/CHCENfs87F4 Another cloning Video ► https://youtu.be/mKSmwyPXH2I Opening the HP TP01-1016 to check upgradability ► https://youtu.be/2_Ti8fmRMaA Items in this video: Kingston M.2 2280 NVMe SSD ► https://amzn.to/2MkWgLt Torx Bits ► https://amzn.to/3haMLd4 ESD Strap ► https://amzn.to/2o88sjc My Gear: My Shure Microphone ► https://amzn.to/2P9KTC4 My Focusrite Audio Interface ► https://amzn.to/2oaKZOg My Canon EOS Rebel T7i Camera and Lens (Kit) ► https://amzn.to/2PovX4C Thank you to all my subscribers and viewers!
