At the moment, there are no measures that can stabilize the oil market because of coronavirus, suggests Omar Al-Ubaydli, Director of Research at the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International, and Energy Studies (Derasat). “At the moment, the major threat in the entire world is the economic consequences of the coronavirus, and what is going on in oil markets is primarily its reflection”, the expert says.
