Everything About Apple M3 Silicon Processors Apple is set to release its new in-house Apple silicon m3 chips to the market with its iMac lineup. The release is expected in the summer of 2023. According to leaks and rumors, Apple's m3 chips will have up to four dies, which would support up to 40 compute cores. The Mac Studio uses the "M1 Ultra," and the Mac Pro is also expected to use "Ultra" chips along with the upcoming "Extreme" chips. If Apple sticks with this chip naming scheme, lower-end M3 chips could be in Apple's entry-level machines, while higher-end Macs could get M3 Pro and M3 Max chips with up to 40 compute cores. Rumors already suggest that there's an M3 iMac that's being tested at Apple headquarters. Release Date: Rumors so far suggest that the M3 chip is going to come in 2023 Macs, but we don't have a more specific timeline as of yet. The first Macs could see a launch in early 2023, perhaps beginning with the Mac Pro, but it is not yet clear if the MacPro will use an M3 chip.
