JBL Control 2P Review - JBL Speaker Review: We tested the JBL Control 2P and are satisfied with the speakers/boxes. We use it as a cheap way for video editing or listen to music via the PC. There are two different versions of these music speakers / boxes, active and passive speakers/boxes. The passive JBL speakers/boxes are suitable for normal hi-fi and the active JBL speakers for connection to a PC, the active music speakers / boxes have their own amplifier. At first we thought that the highs are a little weak and they have adjusted to the switch a little stronger on the back of the speakers, and later we had the speakers/boxes placed exactly on the height of the ears and then we put it back because we are so satisfied. The JBL speakers should be placed absolutely at the height of the head and are placed in a triangle with a minimum distance of 1.5 meters. Alternatively, we can recommend the much better but more expensive JBL LSR 305, otherwise, as an alternative that still much more expensive speakers/boxes of the company Nubert , recommend the Nubert Nupro A-200, but these cost about 690 euros in europe. Overall, we can say that the JBL Control 2P are very okay and even cultish.
