The “Slingshot-Path Guard” is primarily a defensive weapon. The number of ways in which this Slingshot-Trap may be employed is limited only by your imagination. The Slingshot-Trap fires U-nails, out to about 20 m in front of the device. It is used primarily as an anti-infiltration device against “Bad Guys”. This involves connecting a tripwire that would activate the Slingshot-Trap. The tripwire, which are stretched across a trail or other avenues of approach, must be securely attached to one stake firmly emplaced in the ground at a distance of 8 to 10 meters forward of the Slingshot-Trap. The Slingshot-Trap should have a clear field of fire to cover the avenue of approach.
