Practice instrument approach at Modesto (MOD VOR 28R) - June 2018
Flying the Modesto VOR 28R approach. The NorCal approach control seemed to have forgotten we were doing a practice instrument approach, and handed us off to tower way too early. Modesto tower was irritated, but we got it all sorted out eventually. For this approach, I used all the automation available. All instruments were working and I let the autopilot do most of the flying. This was the first of three practice approaches on this day. The second approach was to SCK without the autopilot. The last was with the Aspen PFD failed and no autopilot used. See the others in this playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyGS-vn-QoScDz6HRP8YgdjOI0zs4JHgq
