The unique concert "Sing me an Angel" was in the aid of the Non Profit Organisation "I live for me" which supports people with Cancer and Chronic Diseases. The Internationally acclaimed Greek tenor presented an evening of spiritual songs and songs that touch the soul. These included the premiere presentation of a selection of songs his new international album to be released next year. "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" is a classic Academy Award-winning ballad, with music by Harold Arlen and lyrics by E.Y. Harburg.It was written for the 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz, and was sung by actress Judy Garland in her starring role as Dorothy Gale.Over time, it would become Garland's signature song.
