Helldivers 2 - Tier 7 - Evacuate High Value Assets - How I do It Solo
This is how I do these defense missions. I wouldn't recommend taking a mortar sentry since they'll just destroy your gates. EMS is helpful for sure, but I prefer the AC sentry. This particular mission is slightly atypical, even for T7, but I felt it was a good example because it shows every gate breach. In fairness, I haven't tried this on anything higher than 7 even with a squad. That said, I don't think there's any reason to do so, nor is there any reason to do it on tier 7 in the first place as there are no super samples on these maps. TCS was the same way, no reason to push your frustration level for what amounts to very little extra gain in XP. Further - all operations of any difficulty have the same squad effect on a planet. Just do what's fun. This is a cool mission type and I hope it sticks around. I think it needs a little balancing. Maybe a little less gate health, or slightly faster drops. I find them just a hair too easy.
