Phanteks Evolv Star Wars Budget PC Build
Hey youtube! This is build video for my budget build i've dubbed the Imperial Console Destroyer. Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z97M-DS3H LGA 1150 $89 Case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv $120 RAM: HyperX FURY 8GB (2 x 4GB) $35 CPU: Intel G3258 $65 PSU: NZXT HALE82 V2 550W $65 GPU: SAPPHIRE R9 270x - Was $200 [No longer Available] Cooling: Corsair H65 AIO A number of parts I salvaged from other builds and units like the disk drive that went unused, and swapped for an NZXT HUE controller, and the GPU as well. Actual Money spent after coupons, etc, was around $380. If you include the price of the GPU and LED controller the price goes to a little over $600. My goal was to have something that was very up-gradable and modifiable, so that over time I can incorporate an entire water cooling setup into the unit. I also plan on completely upgrading the CPU and GPU as well in the coming months as another one of my rigs undergoes an overhaul.
