Snappy CD Player (Sony CDP-302)
This came in for repair; gorgeous classic machine from 1985. It has the early voice coil actuated transport with brushless DC spindle motor and all metal pick-up. The ribbon cable connector for the pick-up was producing a poor connection and various things needed cleaning, adjustment, lubrication, etc. I've calibrated the VCO, tracking, and focus and just look at this thing go. Incredible agility!
