This time we’re insulating the floors of our 1968 house — from the crawl space (yes, the tiny, dusty, slightly scary space under the house with snake skin and jimpind spiders). Our home had zero insulation for more than 50 years, so it was definitely time. Armed with a pile of insulation batts, gloves, determination, and questionable life choices, my husband and I crawled under the house to install everything ourselves.
