Changing Ink Lexmark z735 Printer
This is a step by step video demonstrating how to change the ink in a Lexmark z735 printer (could be mistaken for 2735). The number one (1) cartridge is required for this particular model. If you are as shocked as I am at the cost of printer ink for this model at your local office supply store, go to Amazon. Lexmark has an account on Amazon and sells the number one cartridge at a reasonable price. There are several sellers on Amazon that carry this ink. Make sure you are getting it from the Lexmark account and not some other seller. Why? The other companies may be selling a "Knock Off" product that won't be as good. Here's how to change the printer ink: 1. Make sure the printer is turned on 2. Lift the lid and the ink cartridge should automatically slid from the left to the center of the printer 3. Press down on the blue/grey tab and lift the purple one up 4. Remove the ink cartridge, paying attention to the direction that the new one needs to be installed in 5. Close the ink cartridge holder. You will here it snap into place 6. Close the lid and the printer will automatically slide the cartridge to the left into the start position 7. Place your paper in the feed area and select a document to print 8. Print a test page to get the alignment adjusted correctly on the printer Note: For some reason, after some use the Lexmark z735 plastic container may not effortlessly align. It's not a big deal. If you are having trouble getting the plastic holding area to clip into place, once you've added the new cartridge, press in on the longer black plastic section as you are pushing the top purple piece down. myideas channel
