Revopoint Mini - Object scan drifts away ?

I have constant problems with my Revopoint Mini scanner when scanning objects (mostly flat ones). The scan tends to drift away during the scanning process (see video). I tried multiple things like free hand scans, gimbal-supported scans, different angles, used the turntable and multiple combinations but the results are always the same.
