Cadillac Subframe/Crossmember Insulator Replacement Guide
A little guide for replacing the subframe insulators for a 1997-1999 Cadillac Deville and similar body style Cadillacs with the same setup. I’m utilizing the lower insulator, which is still available. The upper insulator is discontinued so I’m using hockey pucks with holes drilled in them which are 1” thick solid rubber so they’re not only stronger than the original material but will do the job just as good if not better.
