(this eliminates possible problem of moisture in the paper causing image quality) Press Home icon Button Press System Menu Press down arrow for page 2/2 Press Adjustment/Maintenance Press down arrow for page 2/3 1. Select Developer Refresh (press start, runs approx 2 min) 2. Select Laser Scanner Cleaning (press start, runs approx 1 min) 3. Select Toner Curve Adjustment (press start) 4. Select Calibration (press start) 5. Select Color Registration (select Auto, place printed chart on glass and start) 6. Press down arrow to go to page 1/3 and select Drum Refresh (press start) If image quality is still poor, try running developer refresh 2 to 3 times. If its still bad, components may be defective and will need to be looked at by your local service rep.
