Atari Quake 2: mouselook, framerate independence + hires display
Quake II on 16MHz Atari Falcon030. See development blog playlist for progress: http://youtu.be/J7KCzRtplNY?list=PLNs6Jw4V4vlvafSs0H3Ww_M5nMm10m0UM This is the same code as used in the last video with a few minor optimizations. The video resolution has been increased from 320x200 to 640x400, is now framerate independent and mouselook control has been added for easier navigation and viewing the geometry. It's also drawing all of the edges this time. Previous tests only drew the right edge of each face. Some edges will be drawn multiple times until the edge caching is working properly. It is a bit more choppy in some parts of the map using hires but it's still only rendering lines and it helps a bit while debugging.
