Phantasy Star Online 2 ES Nvidia Shield (Android JP Release)
Quick Video of Phantasy Star Online 2 ES Nvidia Shield (Android JP Release) Installed on the mighty Nvidia Shield. It's in Japanese with only some rough translations thanks to http://arks-layer.com/ who have already got a Tweeker underway. I don't know whether this will ever make the Western world but hopefully it will but I have doubts considering Phantasy Star Online 2 on the PC never did and those who did want to play have to jump through a whole bunch of translation loops for it to make any sense! This for me is a blast from the past, the menu music, the little RagRappy in the opening forest it brings back those memories of 56k Dialup online PSO games on the dreamcast. Some of those memories for me involved ringing Sega to get the game serial unbanned after the daft days of crashing lobbys with a hex edited chat box or even worse a complete ban on the Gamecube release for using the empty chat box name finder to FSOD the lobbies as players tried to load! oops But that was all part the fun of growing up with some of the first and best online console RPG games! This obviously doesn't bring that whole experience back but its nice to see that the Phantasy Star name still lives on and they are trying to expand it to other formats I just wish they would include the rest of the world! Setup & help can be found here: http://arks-layer.com/pso2es.php worth a try... even if its just to try bring back some of that Phantasy Star Online nostalgia !
