How to Turn Demon's Souls into Pure Suffering - Area of Effect Attacks Only at SL1 on NG+
Can You beat Demon's Souls using only AOE spells on SL1 NG+? Well, this turned out to be one of the hardest Challenge run I've ever done. Even though Demon's Souls is often regarded as the easiest souls game, I tried to see how difficult could I make it by only using AOE spells at SL1 on NG+ (except for Storm King obviously) And wow... did I get more than I bargained for... God's wrath is only a meager sneeze with this little faith and requires you to refill your MP bar after every single cast. Firestorm is not usable at all at SL1 and poison/death cloud does single digit damage per tick. And the infamous poison cloud cheese strats with the thief's ring to make bosses lose agroe, are tedious and boring so I did not allow myself to make use of those.
