GitHub Actions in action: GHA in OSS project (instead of Travis) | Juho Saarinen @ Modern Pipelines
Juho Saarinen - Senior Consultant at Eficode. Some time ago Travis was first choice for people to create CI for GitHub projects. It had it’s issues, but it worked. Arise of GHA offered nice way for CI closer to code and with all OS and interpreter support for normal applications, along with possibility to use own agents. In the talk I’ll present the journey from Travis to GHA, and also building of GHA based CI for Robot Framework.
