How To Install a K & N Air Filter - Lexus GS300 Model 33-2170
Welcome to Rapidfiretv! In this video we are going to install a new K & N air filter in a 2001 Lexus GS300. Using a K & N air filter will improve acceleration and gas mileage for your car. Locate the air filter box and remove the top cover to gain access to the air filter. Remove the air filter. Take the K&N air filter out of the packaging and place it inside the filter tray. Use sealing grease around the raised portion of the air filter if your air filter came supplied with it. The sealing grease keeps dirt and contaminants from entering the engine, so take your time to do it correctly. Insert the air filter and tray until it snaps into place. Place the plastic cover securely onto the air box. If you wish, you can add the K&N air filter on the air box so technicians who work on your car won’t throw away the air filter.
