How to Change PLDT WIFI Name and Password | Updated 2020
Welcome to another episode of Pinoy TechCentral Tutorials! Our episode today will be featuring on How to change PLDT WIFI Name and Password. IMPORTANT REMINDER: ✔️ Make sure you have already gained access to PLDT Admin account If not please refer to this tutorial. Unlock PLDT Full Admin Account: https://bit.ly/2HZPM2f ✔️ Change the Default PLDT Wifi name and password The default Wifi name and Password is usually located in the back of the PLDT Router. Step 1 Identify the IP address of you PLDT Router ✔️ Right-click your Wifi and Click Open Network & Internet Settings ✔️ Click Change Adapter Options ✔️ Right-click to your Wifi Connection and click Status ✔️ Click Details and Locate the IPV4 Default Gateway (192.168.1.1) ✔️ Open your browser and input the Login URL (https://192.168.1.1/fh) Step 2 Login your PLDT Admin Account ✔️ If you're having trouble during the login stage of your PLDT admin account refer to this tutorial. Unlock PLDT Full Admin Account: https://bit.ly/2HZPM2f ✔️ Navigate to Network, then Advanced Settings ✔️ Change your SSID Name accordingly (make sure it is between 1-32 characters) ✔️ Change your passphrase ( Make sure to use a strong password) ✔️ Click the Apply button and Reboot the device via Device Management. Step 3 Check the applied changes ✔️ Login to your new Wifi name with the Password you have configured earlier. ✔️ Check Internet Connection. ✔️ Enjoy!
