FSX F/A-18 Tutorial - Autopilot & Navigation Systems
How to use the autopilot, comm and nav systems of the default F/A-18 in FSX Acceleration. Any questions feel free to ask. Go to your flight sim install directory 2. Navigate to Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\FA-18\Panel 3. Open panel.cfg using Notepad 4. At the top of the file under 'window Titles' add the line window04=Radio Stack 5. Scroll down and under the [window03] section add: [Window04] size_mm=159,441 position=8 visible=0 BACKGROUND_COLOR=16,16,16 ident=RADIO_STACK_PANEL windowsize_ratio=0.5 gauge00=737-400!Comm 1, 0, 0,159, 68 gauge01=737-400!Comm 2, 0, 68,159, 68 gauge02=737-400!Nav 1, 0, 135,159, 68 gauge03=737-400!Nav 2, 0, 203,159, 68 gauge04=737-400!Transponder, 0, 271,159, 68 gauge05=737-400!ADF, 0, 340,159, 68 gauge06=737-400!Audio, 0, 409,159, 32 6. You may need to fiddle around with size_mm and windowsize_ratio to suit your resolution.
