[Overwatch] Mei - Jumping over wall into the market on Dorado
NOTES: 0:00 - Note how the wall can be placed on different parts of the pot, putting it higher or lower. You must put it at the highest point on the pot to be able to jump over. You have to jump first, then start moving forward in order to make the jump. Also note how the icewall goes through the wall, so if an enemy happens to be there they will see you coming. 0:18 - Placement of the wall is really important, I missed the first wall there due to it not being high enough. Besides that, turning around and putting the wall backwards minimizes the amount of icewall that goes through and is visible on the other side. The particles and effects are also seen through the wall as well. It is pretty hard to do this consistently so practice is key. 0:53 - One example of it's use in an actual game. I've found the most success doing this when the cart is just about to enter the market and I have my ultimate up. It was fortunate for me that there were two people right at the wall for me to jump on immediately, normally I'd have to walk farther first. Could have still gone better though, should have targeted junkrat first as torbjorn is a pretty easy target to get the two kills by myself (shout out to the D. Va for cleaning up the junkrat), and melee'd the torbjorn for a quicker kill which could have given me enough time to freeze junkrat before he was able to jump away. In either case, being up 2 people let my team move up and have good positioning to take the first point relatively easily.
