"Money Isn't Everything" Foxy 1964 Bert Lahr
"Foxy" was a show that had promise and a great score by the late Johnny Mercer. Sadly, its production was a comedy of errors- from opening in Yukon Alaska where barely half of the house was filled every night, to opening the same year as "Hello, Dolly!" and "Funny Girl," the show seemed doomed from the beginning. Bert Lahr, Larry Blyden and Julienne Marie played large roles, and the cast album was to be recorded by RCA Victor. However, the show closed after 72 performances and 4 previews. Taken from a live audience recording, made either during the show's Alaska premiere or its show Broadway run.
